About The Club Print

Our Strip

The Humble Beginnings

Back in 1997 in the centre of Bexley Village, a group of like-minded Dads started what we now call Parkwood Rangers. Initially with around 30 boys, we started playing in the Bexley & District League with 2 Under 8 teams and 1 Under 9s, playing our home games at Butterfly Lane, Eltham. The Club grew from strength to strength once we established our training base at Old Bexley School. The children just kept coming.

Charter Standard

The Club gained F.A. Charter Standard Award in 1999. At that time one of the first clubs nationally to do so. We found a new home ground at Bexley Park and just kept growing.

The Club was awarded Charter Standard Club of the Year in 2001 and Charter Standard Womens Club of the Year in 2009 both by the London Football Assocation.

The Club was also given the highest accolade of Charter Standard Community Club status in 2009

The Club Today

In the 2009/10 season we will be registering seven mini soccer teams and eleven 11-a-side teams. This includes both boys and girls, with over 200 children playing for Parkwood Rangers.
