Sports England have created and funded Running Sports, this has been designed for volunteers working in sport. Volunteers are defined as individuals responsible for coordinating and managing other volunters, or for undertaking an adminstritive role within their sports club or organisation.

Running sports provides specfic skills, resources and support for volunters in formats that are convenient form them to be access, and will help them to contribute to thier club or organisation to ensure it future success.

The club is keen to promote personal development for those that are interested in the under 15s and above teams to officiate home games both mini-soccer and 11-a-side including linesman.

Inside soccer website is a great resource for managers and coaches, players and parents, This site provides age appropiate training drills, top tips from top coaches and players from top teams from around the world.

Coaches can join this website for free.

Benefits

Coaches can gain access to age appropaite drills, from Champion Leagues sides such as Inter Milan, Ajax.

The drill's easy taught to coaches via video, and can be passed on to or players.

Coaches will also access to an Animated Session Builder for you, to plan and design session plans or team team tactics on the computer. (you will need to register with the site for this resouce).

There is a comprehensive, interactive library of football coaching information and an online design tool, Coaches Chalkboard, enabling a football coach to very easily design their own football training drills. Grassrootscoaching.com was voted best online football coaching resource at the 2007 and 2008 Grassroots Football Show. For Level 2 coaches or coaches whiching to progress to level two, there is are 48 drills to support level 2.
